I had 10 dollars of Kohls Cash to use.  Actually, it was expired but it expired during the whole finger saga and I'd heard a rumor they'll let you use it even if it has expired.  And, in fact, they will.  But back to me {because it's ALL about me} I have been hating my jeans lately.  I've gotten most of them at goodwill and while they look fine I have a SERIOUS gap issue, if you know what I mean. :)  I'm not talking the one at the mall.  Anyway, I decided I was going to use that kohls cash to get me a little something.  Life's been a bit of a downer lately...  Anyway, I went and got some of the Lee gapless jeans, and just randomly got a pair of 14's as a pipe dream (I've been pretty solidly a 16 since about March).  And guess what, they FIT!  Can you BELIEVE IT?  I'm talking, fit - fit -- not like, I can see your pores kind of fit.  I couldn't believe it.  In fact, I then got a cheaper pair of jeans and they fit too.  Turns out, it wasn't just the gap (and the gap fit jeans are great, but they need to tighten that elastic a bit, because the gap wasn't particularly different than in the other jeans).

And then I remembered I bought a nice pair of trouser pants at Kohls a few weeks ago, in a size 16.  I ran home to try them on and they were like 2 inches too big.  Thankfully, Kohls has an amazing return policy (and I hadn't worn the jeans) and I got the right size (had to change brands, but I think I may like this brand better).

Normally, this would go on the weightloss blog, but I'm REALLY happy about this.  Some people are like, "oh wow -- you must be just losing weight."  Uh-uh, this is practically a part time job for myself, working REALLY hard at it.  Anyway, just saying that it can happen when you put your heart and mind to it. :)
