I had a little mommy freak out this morning.
P has croup and when she gets really upset she turns blue.
Just reminder to me that no matter how much medical training is behind this willpower of steel a person can still melt when something might REALLY be wrong.
Also, a huge props to Kaiser for their phone consultations.
When she's happy she's not blue.... so we'll make it til' our doctor calls us this morning.
I fear there's some Yo Gabba Gabba in our future this morning.
Someone's dashing husband is also in the holiday parade this fine morning. Go SCHS Marching Band!

Croup can be really scary. I remember the first time one of my kids woke up with it in the middle of the night. She sounded awful and I didn't know what was wrong. Yes, a big thank you to medical personnel behind midnight phone calls
Oops, I keep hitting the wrong buttons on these comment forms.
Kaiser day for us too. We had early morning ear aching and accompanying screaming (by him, not us luckily). Husband got to do the phone consultation and we liked it.
Hope P gets better soon! I also have a great respect for the advice nurses on that late shift.
A comment full of hope, just for you:
Hopefully the parade went well; I forgot to ask Drew about it. Hopefully P gets feeling better soon and stops turning blue. She's more of a red girl I hear.
