Boy oh boy, do I love to yell! Call it the drum major coming out in me -- or the fact that I'm just a glutton for vocal chord punishment... but I'm a yeller.And it's not great.
I will admit in this house it's gotten worse -- just because it's so much bigger. I'm used to having all my chicks in the nest, and now they're all over our little castle!
I really try not to yell when diciplining. Sometimes I think that because I don't really spank (I HAVE spanked, but it's not my method of choice, because it doesn't work), I yell to get their attention. Which, also doesn't work.
Anyway, do you yell? How do you avoid it? Is it avoidable?

Yelling is avoidable. Raising the voice? Maybe not.
And oh yeah, I yell. I'm the best yeller on the block. All that vocal training.
